our story

GALLERIE V is a Cambridge-based youth gallery which opened its doors on May 19, 2021.
Our mission is to support, inspire, and educate the local youth community, as well as to showcase artists aged 14-25 from all over the UK.
By providing a platform for artists to express their creativity, we aim to create a community which enables young individuals to showcase and develop their creative potential.

Located in downtown Cambridge, our gallery is in an area that prioritises education, innovative thinking, and of course, the arts. The four floors of Gallerie V are located opposite St John's chapel in the heart of a town where millions of people flock each year, thus providing an unmatched exposure to our artists.
We showcase a wide variety of high-quality art pieces of many types of mediums and styles.
In our projects, we aim to be accessible and relevant to our local community. Over the past year, we have hosted 8 exhibitions, 1 performance evening, 1 charity fundraiser, 2 student pop-up exhibitions, 1 film screening, 1 anniversary exhibition, and 8 opening nights.
By exhibiting budding artists free of charge in a highly professional environment, we hope to give our network of alumni a sense of accomplishment and pride in their artistic careers.
